A-Reece’s latest EP, Business As Usual, blends sharp wit with a playful edge, and the closing track, "Scented Candles/Well Done, Dada," stands out as a standout moment. The song weaves together a surreal, almost absurdist narrative, where mundane moments, like lighting a candle, take on a whimsical, almost satirical twist. The dual-title structure gives it a layered feel, balancing humor with a touch of melancholy, all wrapped in A-Reece’s signature knack for clever wordplay and rhythmic precision.
The track’s production is clean and focused, letting the lyrics shine without distraction. Whether it’s the offbeat phrasing or the unexpected pivot in tone, "Scented Candles/Well Done, Dada" feels like a perfect closer to the EP, offering a moment of reflection wrapped in a smile. Fans of A-Reece’s ability to turn ordinary observations into something fresh and engaging will find plenty to appreciate here.
